Preserve Your Bounty — A Seasonal Fermentation & Pickling Workshop
Early summer is when gardens and farmers markets overflow — this hands-on workshop teaches you to meet that abundance with creativity and skill. You’ll make seasonal sauerkraut, vinegar-pickled mixed vegetables, and fermented tomato salsa, learning the core techniques of both lacto-fermentation and quick pickling. Guests are encouraged to bring their own garden vegetables or CSA surplus to adapt the techniques to what they actually have on hand. The workshop closes with a shared tasting lunch celebrating preserved vegetables in everyday meals. Take home three jars of your own preserved vegetables, step-by-step guides, and the confidence to turn any surplus into something delicious.
